The Empty Shop Results

The Empty Shop closed its doors on Sunday, weighing in with nearly two tonnes of clothing donations including over £70,000 of brand new unworn garments donated collectively by N Brown Group, Bestseller and boohoo.com!

Through partnering with Manchester Arndale to bring you The Empty Shop, we have been able to raise awareness around homelessness and raise Mustard Tree’s profile so more people know about the life transforming work we do. This year, the support shown from retailers has been fantastic – not only has there been a significant increase in the quality of the clothes donated, the retail value sits at over £70,000 which will allow us to coordinate more sale events throughout the year, this will give us the opportunity to offer immediate relief as well as much needed resources to drive the ongoing work of delivering long term solutions.
