Greater Manchester Faith Sector Homelessness Summit – 20th March

Mustard Tree’s Partnerships Coordinator Jez Green will be attending, alongside one of our volunteers with lived experience of homelessness. It will be a great chance to

  •  Look together at the big picture and overall strategy to address homelessness
  • Raise awareness of and assess together the breadth of the contribution of the faith sector
  • Consider the possibilities for more partnership working in the respective Boroughs.
  • Think about issues geographically and thematically to bring conversations to all 10 boroughs

Participants will be coming from across Greater Manchester and will include staff and volunteers of homelessness charities, people with lived experience, church and other faith centre leaders, members of interfaith networks, officers of Local Authorities, Public Sector Agencies and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

The event will include contributions from Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, staff & volunteers of frontline homelessness charities and people with lived experience of homelessness.
