Mustard Tree is looking for a new Chair of Trustees

Mustard Tree – tackling both the causes and consequences of poverty and homelessness.

Our current Chair will complete an 8-year term with the charity in April 2020. We are therefore seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to help lead the strategic vision and future of the charity as Chair of Trustees.

For over 25 years Mustard Tree has been supporting and creating opportunities for the most disadvantaged communities in Greater Manchester. In recent years we have become established as one of the most significant charities in the region working to combat poverty and homelessness. The charity operates from its recently refurbished headquarters in Ancoats with smaller hubs across Greater Manchester.

We have a committed and motivated team in place and are looking for an equally committed individual to join us. The person will need to be confident leading at board level, experienced at building strategies with senior teams, be motivated to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged and committed to partnership working.

As this is a voluntary role, this is an opportunity to make a genuinely life-changing difference to individuals and communities across Greater Manchester, utilizing your experience and skill set to help lead the charity into the next stage of our development.
