Latest statement from Mustard Tree about COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Mustard Tree is staying open and operating as key workers under the categories of food distribution and charity delivering front-line services (as per latest gov.uk guidance).

We are refocusing the charity on food clubs, toiletries, clothes, food supply and distribution including managing donations from the public. Our services are applicable to those on benefits and on no income. We are doing this through our Ancoats site (6 days a week) and Eccles and Little Hulton two days a week and are working with other partners on this:

• Ancoats, Manchester – 10am till 4pm (Monday to Saturday apart from Thursdays 10-12:30pm)
• Eccles – 10am-2pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
• Little Hulton – 10am-2pm Tuesday and Wednesday

We are working to public health guidelines and doing what we can to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus. We want to take this opportunity to say a HUGE THANK YOU to our customers, clients volunteers and staff members for your positivity and encouragement. We have been around for the last 25 years – combating poverty and preventing homelessness – and working to our values of Belief, Dignity, Opportunity, Diversity and Partnership. We think these values are more relevant than ever and we are committed to continuing to support people across Greater Manchester at this time.
