Another massive thank you to all who donated to our Easter Egg shop n drop campaign. We were so impressed with the quantity and qualities of the hauls!
Over 1000 eggs were donated by you throughout March. They helped put a smile on the faces of children and families across Greater Manchester and Salford.
One couple managed to buy eggs for their 20 grand kids – they were so worried they wouldn’t be able to afford it before coming to Mustard Tree
Like many holidays, there can be quite a lot of pressure on people to meet expectations – especially when it comes to Easter. The donations meant that we could alleviate the financial pressure for our clients, by making the eggs accessible and affordable. One couple managed to buy eggs for their 20 grand kids, and we’re going through all the names as they were being placed on the counter.
Who else was going to give me an egg?
As part of our gifting commitment of food and clothing for people who have no fixed abode and no recourse to public funds, we were also able to give eggs to people sleeping rough, some of who told us how nostalgic it felt to receive an Easter treat at this time of year.
Your commitment and passion to Mustard Tree and our clients is truly incredible. We have created a wonderful community of supporters who are enthusiastic, generous, and always keen for the next campaign.

It’s simple:

- Between the 1st and 31st May, participate in a 5k walk, run, swim, cycle etc (I will be making the most of my new lockdown hobby by rollerblading!)
