Harvest Festival Appeal

Harvest Festival Appeal

There has never been a more urgent time to donate food to Mustard Tree, as we see more people registering to access low-cost food from our Food Clubs.

3,027 people used our Food Clubs 21,794 times between March 2020 – March 2021. We also delivered emergency food to over 6,000 households as part of our Covid-19 crisis response.

Donating food has a real, profound, and tangible impact on Mustard Tree and the people we support, and is one of the most important aspects of what we do! Click to read our recent article – ‘Food is still at the Heart of everything we do‘.

We are looking for donations of non-perishable, long life and packaged items, such as:

  • Tinned fruit & veg
  • Tinned meats (meatballs, ravioli, vegetables, new potatoes, fruit, fish, rice pudding)
  • Cereal
  • Bread
  • Cheese
  • UHT Milk
  • Tea
  • Coffee
  • Sugar
  • Gluten and Lactose Free items
  • Pet food (wet and dry in individual pouches)

The pandemic has not only uncovered the true scale of poverty, but it has also created new challenges for individuals and families all across Manchester and Salford. If you would like to arrange a collection with your colleagues, community groups, faith groups etc, please contact information@mustardtree.org.uk or call 0161 228 7331.

Thank you for your support!
