Welcome to another edition of Mustard Tree’s Round-Up!

National Storytelling Week

We love a good story, so to cap off National Storytelling Week – we want to share the experience of James – who came to Mustard Tree to build his confidence and find work. After three months on the Freedom Project, we secured a work placement for James at The Rug Seller in Trafford – you can read his story here.

Great Manchester Run

Tokens are now LIVE for the Great Manchester Run – taking place on Sunday 22nd May, 2022. You can claim a free place for the Manchester 10k or half-marathon and participate in aid of Mustard Tree!

We ask that each Manchester 10k runner aims to raise at least £100 in sponsorship, or £200 for the half-marathon – participants can set up their fundraising pages via our Great Run campaign page.

Staycity Manchester Piccadilly

Thanks to our friends at Staycity Manchester Piccadilly, we have a dozen beautiful sofa beds for our Community Shops. The sofa beds will either be sold at low-cost to raise money for our charity, or gifted through our furniture voucher scheme (we gift 40% of furniture donations directly to those who need them).
