Salford Living Wage Week Event

Salford Living Wage Week Event

Living Wage Week (14-22 November) is the annual celebration of the national Living Wage movement, with events taking place up and down the country including Salford the UK’s first Living Wage City!

Join Mustard Tree, Loaves & Fishes and Salford CVS for a fabulous Lunch Event to celebrate Living Wage Week and the importance of paying the Real Living Wage during this Cost-of-Living crisis. Ultimately ensuring that ‘a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay’.

Click here register for the event.

Our event will explore:

  • Ongoing progress that Salford is making as England’s first city working to become a truly Living Wage Place
  • Find out more about being a Living Wage Employer and the broader benefits it makes to an organisation. As well as the difference paying the real Living Wage makes to people and organisations in our city.
  • An introduction to the Living Hours Campaign and how it connects to the Living Wage.

The event is a great opportunity to learn more about the practical implications of being a living wage employer as well as a fantastic opportunity to network over (a vegetarian) lunch provided by HM Pasties.
