Giving your time
Become a Friend of Mustard Tree volunteer!
Do you have a skill or hobby you’d like to share? Do you have experience and skills that could help people who are in need to discover their skills and talents?

If you want to help us to create opportunities for the people who come to Mustard Tree, then becoming a Friend of Mustard Tree may just be the thing for you!

Our criteria for someone to become a Friend of Mustard Tree is that they must:

Identify with Mustard Tree values and able to embody these.
Have a specialist skill they are willing to share – whether that is enriching what we currently offer such as different creative classes, or developing something new!
Be comfortable working independently. (Support is of course available from the staff team).
Be able to commit to regularly volunteering with us, for a minimum time-period of 10 weeks.
Desireable: experience of working with vulnerable adults.

If this sounds like you, please get in touch using our Friend Of MT Application Form and contact volunteering@mustardtree.org.uk so that we can find out a bit more about you, your skills, and interests. Please note that we currently only run new sessions Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm.

If you work for a company and would like to do a volunteering day as a as a team please go to our Corporate Volunteering page.

Please follow the links below to see more information about the roles and how to apply. If you have any ideas that aren’t on our current list – please still get in touch as we’d love to hear from you.
